Driving barefoot is MUCH safer than driving in flip flops (they get caught around the pedal) or stiletto heels (it’s too hard to balance on the heel) or hiking boots (they don’t flex around the ankle so you can’t move properly). I ALWAYS remove those shoes and opt for barefoot.

Having shoes brings a higher risk of latching onto any of the pedals… typically the shoe laces and the soles of the shoes can get caught and disrupts the driver!
