@julesvandegevel: I made three main mistakes in my 50’s as a midlife woman. These three mistakes are things that I wish I had done sooner and I wish I had of realised just how important they were to my health, vitality and mental well being. 1. I wish I had started Hormone replacement therapy sooner, in the early stages of peri menopause not when I was just about entering menopause. 2. I wish I hadn’t put so much time into cardio thinking this was what my body needed when really I could spend far less time in the gym but swap to strength training instead because the changes are so much more bang for you buck! 3. I wish I had started prioritising my needs sooner, time to myself, without the guilt that often comes with it after being a mum most of my adult life. Just enjoying time alone, peace and quiet to recalibrate makes such a difference. Would love to hear from any women in their 50’s what they would have done differently if they could go back? #midlife #over50 #menopause #hormonereplacementtherapy #perimenopause

Great advice and your skin and hair look fab 🙌. What do you use on y it e hair to make it look so smooth and healthy? I find midlife has made my hair more coarse despite using treatments and masques (not cheap ones either!)

I really regret stopping HRT but I had no choice as my GP said it was only to be taken for 5 years!

What I'd tell my younger self? Stop chasing extreme plans. Build something you can repeat even on your hardest days. ✨
