You get to see your kids at games on his time? My ex is trying so hard to keep me from seeing the kids at sporting events, like called the school to complain because I have field access (photographer for local paper) and doesnt wanting me texting them or seeing them after coming off the field. Guess what, PP had nothing to stop me and it was just finalized in Dec 2025. My attorney had to send a Cease and Desist letter....💀💀💀

This! But is there a way to update the parenting agreement for this? My child is now entering high school and I just don’t feel like the agreement we made when they were 10 is gonna to work the next 4 years.

I (bonus mom) am very well aware that 50/50 patments does not equal 50/50 visitation. I am not able to pay the full maintenance, but I pay half of school fees, bus fees, extra math classes and half of one child's dentist account. But if we want them to visit all travelling costs there and back falls 100% on us.

My kid calls me for lunch money… and he’s scared to tell his dad. 0 help for anything sport related other than 1/2 registrations. I need his “consent” before buying anything if I want 1/2. So my partner and I just do it.

I’m the stepmom and they come to me with everything because they know I always make sure they have everything they need. She won’t even buy them swimsuits so if they have a party to go to or the school always does a field trip to the waterpark at the end of the year we have to send our bathing suits coverups and sandals are they can’t go.

I know every time they need sports equipment or concession money or trip money. I’ve given in to just giving and going what’s best for the kids. They never ask him.

My decree specifically states that I am only responsible for 50% of medical bills he has to pay everything else. I only make 1/4 of what he makes and he still insists on asking me to split everything 50/50. I think he still views the $ I got in the settlement as his. 🙄.
