caveman explanation: you attack other team, get points. attack same team, get little points. attack big time big effort, big points. attack little time little effort, little points. carve stone worth big points by default, paint cave wall worth little points by default. no getting Grogg's pre-carved rock to help attack, must do by self. end of month, team with most points win.

Simplest way to explain points is imagine it as commissions. A fully rendered full body drawing with a background is worth more points than an uncoloured headshot sketch. And friendly fire (same team) are slightly less like giving your friend a discount on your commissions

Basically it’s marked off of the effort you put into each piece (i.e, uncoloured being worth less than coloured pieces). You can also mark some pieces as ‘polished’ which means you spend more time, effort etc than you usually do on a piece. These won’t really be monitored or flagged or anything unless they have reason to believe that you’re abusing it (I.E, marking EVERY single piece as polished). Honestly don’t worry too much about it because it explains stuff when you’re doing an attack.
