I liked Lana’s growth throughout the show but I couldn’t stand any of the times she and Clark were together but I got the point of it. Clark had to learn that to be who he needed to be he had to be with someone who would help him embrace his destiny. And Lana even though it was unintentional made him want to discard who he needed to be.

The difference between Lana and Lois is, if Lana has the chance to have Clark's powers she will take it, she would rather the spotlight is on her, but Lois won't take it even if it's forced on her, she rather be the girl she is. Lana is power hungry, that's her problem.

I honestly understand that Lana didn't notice that Clark wasn't actually Clark because, why wouldn't he be? But he was acting so unlike him that it's so stupid she didn't notice something was wrong, and then she just made everything worse in this scene telling the actual Clark he wasn't as good as the fake one 😭

es gracioso que Clark le reclamé a Lana sinceridad cuando el por 4 temporadas nunca supo decirle la verdad jamás diciéndole que la amaba. Amo y adoro a Clark pero siempre fue un tibio que solo idealizaba a Lana y siempre andaba haciéndola creer que estaba loca, pero nadie que sea fan está listo para esta conversación. (yo también odiaba a lana cuando ví Smallville por primera vez a los 12 años pero oh sorpresa volví a ver Smallville con madurez a mis 32 y si hay muchas banderas rojas también de parte de Clark escudándose de que "no sabe manejar las cosas por ser alien") ahí se las dejo.

that is the stupidest reason to break up, if he was more affectionate and understanding and that's what she liked about the "other Clark" then maybe real Clark should do some self reflection bc he is too hard on people who don't necessarily agree with HIS way of thinking and if she wishes more affection he SHOULD give her
