Ik this is a hot take but I do like besons better but I think Harry’s is great and it’s the og. I think the whole concept of “Kelly clarkson”ing is dumb because the og will always be the og and a cover will always be just a cover and a remake can never really be better than the original bc the original is the way it was meant to be. If that makes sense?

If vocals alone, benson is objectively better. But songs are not just about vocals, harry brings the emotions out of this song. This is harry’s signature, imo the best after going solo

Benson has very stable vocals even whilst doing acrobatics with them, but Harry manages to put sooooo much emotion into his performance whilst still sounding great which I think makes him a better performer

I PERSONALLY think that, despite the fact they are both very strong artists in their own right and own respect, Benson vocals were more stable, whilst Harry's were more emotional (in this video). So, if were comparing this video to the video of Benson, id say Benson has Kelly Clarksoned this song, however, Harry is a strong singer and there are clips where he shows this, my opinion is based solely on this video.
