I wrote this song about one of the lowest points of my life. At that time I was so low that I didn’t care to see another day. I was just going through the motions. Getting up everyday just to repeat the same routine and never feel any satisfaction or fulfillment. I was investing my time into the wrong things. Sometimes even felt like I was in a battle with myself. I thought My character was flawed…like something was wrong with me. I’d look in the mirror and start playing a comparison against myself. I never saw this cycle coming to an end…until April 13th 2025. It started earlier that day. I had a show in Vegas and I was trying to decide if I wanted to stay in Vegas another day and go do “Activities” or if I wanted to go back to Nashville to see a concert that night. I had been wanting to see this act in concert for a while and part of me knew it’d be good for me to go especially with how I had been feeling lately. The temptation of the “Fun” I could have in Vegas almost convinced me to stay but I knew deep down that I was not gonna feel any better about my choices in Sin City. Don’t get me wrong…I LOVE Vegas. But for different reasons. I decided to go back to Nashville that night to the concert and what I experienced there completely reset my mental health. I’m sure you’re curious on the concert and who the artist was..? The artist was @Forrest Frank. I had an awakening that night from God. No words. Just tears. All of the shame and pain that I had been holding onto, god took it from me that night. He showed up for me because I chose to do the right thing and honor him rather than falling into the temptations of temporary pleasure. I share all of this to tell YOU something. Autopilot is not the end of your story. The story ends the same way that it started….with Jesus. If you’re on “Autopilot” I want to encourage you to surrender your worries and sin to Jesus. If you’re hanging on to something and can’t let go of it or can’t quit it, give god a try. There’s power in that. Trust me. I’ve seen it to believe it. Stop trying to carry it all because at the end of the day, we aren’t in control. I love all of you. Keep pushing and ask the lord for wisdom and to guide you in your daily walk with him. Autopilot is Temporary. Jesus is forever ♾️
