I was fuming when UBC made me take off my facility colour sash right after the ceremony, before pictures. But not having the gown at all is insane. All that tuition money and they aren’t able to buy more gowns to have enough per day??

if you were at the Humanities/Arts & Science ceremony on Monday, the alumni events afterwards had gowns and stoles you could borrow so you could have pics with your degree AND the gown.

Queen’s gave an hour to return the gown but it wasn’t enough time to go from Slush Puppie Place (I wish I was kidding) back to campus to take pics. This year they are doing it a bit differently and can return them on campus so we will see how that works
