@micaela_kisten: Gilora Pickle 🥒 Ingredients ✨ - 300g gilora (ivy gourd), sliced in half lengthwise - Vinegar, for soaking - Salt, for soaking and seasoning - 1 tbsp Kashmiri chilli powder - 1 tbsp pickle masala - 1 tsp jaggery - ½ cup hot oil Method ✨ 1. Wash the gilora and slice each one in half lengthwise. 2. Soak overnight in vinegar and salt. 3. Drain the next day, pat dry, and leave to air dry for 1 hour. 4. Place the gilora in a bowl and add the Kashmiri chilli powder, pickle masala, jaggery, and extra salt to taste. 5. Mix well until all the pieces are evenly coated. 6. Heat the oil until hot and carefully pour it over the spiced gilora. 7. Mix thoroughly. 8. Transfer to a clean, dry glass jar and allow the flavours to develop for 1–2 days before eating.
