@morgane_kizz_official: 𝗠𝘂𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘇𝗶 𝗧𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗢𝗽𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, 𝗦𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗛𝗲 𝗪𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗢𝗽𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Chief of Defence Forces and Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) Chairman Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba has stirred political debate after declaring that he wants a new Leader of the Opposition in Parliament and has instructed PLU to explore ways of removing Joel Ssenyonyi from the position. In a series of posts on X, Gen Muhoozi said he had directed PLU to study how Ssenyonyi could be removed as Leader of the Opposition as soon as possible. "I want a new Leader of the Opposition in Parliament. And I will get him. He will be endorsed by me," Muhoozi posted. The military chief also suggested that opposition figures Joel Ssenyonyi and Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda could be next in line for action, writing, "Ssemujju and Joel will follow very soon.
