@justsomeguy073: not a roommate situation. well. technically a roommate situation. but the kind of roommate situation. that used to be a different kind of situation. that had apparently been downgraded to roommate. without the roommate being fully informed of the downgrade. i found out three weeks in. not from my ex. from the roommate. who called the number they found. and explained the situation. very clearly. very calmly. from their perspective. which was a different perspective. to the one i had been given. i thanked them for calling. meant it. hung up. and sent a single message to my ex. that said. your roommate called. and waited. the response that came back. was the most creative piece of fiction. i have ever received on a phone. genuinely impressive. i would have given it three stars if the subject matter hadn't been my actual life. 😶
