It was a great pleasure to meet him and learn more about the Uzbek culture, which I am proud of and connected to through my roots. I am originally from the beautiful and historic city of Samarkand. I was also delighted to enjoy authentic Uzbek cuisine and the wonderful atmosphere. It was an even greater honor and joy to have my dear father with me at this special gathering.
