@tommythecowboy: Just because Culturally we are different doesn’t mean I don’t love this Country we call home. There are a lot of us with different cultures and backgrounds but we love and respect this Country all the same. That’s not to say I don’t forget my roots, I’ll always be a Proud Samoan, an Islander and I’ll always teach my kids their culture on both sides both Samoan and Aboriginal. Don’t understand why we can’t just Love this country and be good people to each other, why does someone have to be sent home or give up their culture 🤦🏾‍♂️ if we are conforming or assimilating to a culture, who’s culture are we assimilating to? The Indigenous people of this Land? Like I keep saying I agree we need to be checking who we are letting into the country but you can’t paint all immigrants with the same brush, there are good immigrants that contribute to this Country. Doctors, surgeons, teachers, Construction workers, Miners, Nurses list goes on. Not to mention all the different foods and cuisines we enjoy. Just be a good person to everyone regardless colour or race and do your best to Love and preserve this Country.
