Yeah so tell the victim since she hasn’t been hurt during these violations you can’t do more. I can’t believe this many violations doesn’t warrant a higher sentence. Californias 3 strike rule is flawed for sure but this is how it should be used. And the lawyer to argue “he didn’t threaten her 5 times it was only 3 because 2 of the times were on the same day?!? Yeah that’s a great defense.

I think the real problem with criminal activity in this country is that we give them a fair punishment. we seem to abhor cruel and unusual punishments. but that's how we learn isn't it? the things our parents did to us could mostly be considered cruel and unusual, but we learned didn't we? we need to stop making punishment fit the crime and start making punishment DETER THE CRIME

So his lawyer said because he didn't physically harm her, he should get a lighter sentence, but 5 violations of a TPO and mental and emotional trauma are just as bad, if not worse.

18 months or less when he has threatened to kill her and the kid and violated 3 no contact orders 5 times? I think tf not!! He isn't taking an accountability for his actions either and just blaming her for him using drugs.
