Our dean told us that Psychology is a course for passionate people, not for becoming rich 🥹 So i took that degree. I work as a VA now but I plan to take masters soon after I win my fight against cancer.

gurl I graduated Magna Cum Laude in tourism and now I’m working at a BPO company, I chose BPO cuz sales gave me my 6 digit salary per month lol better than my actual course where I need to do physical work

No hate at all, but barista and call center jobs are respectable careers too. I just hope posts like this don't discourage Psychology students or make them question whether their degree is worth it.

What's wrong with Barista and Call Center Agents? Did you know na sila ang bumuhat ng economy esp during pandemic? I started in BPO, and now into Law here. It is always a good starting point. After all, your career is your responsibility. Di kapa nagsisimula nasa formalities ka palang.

I graduated with a Psychology degree as a scholar, and I never regretted spending a year in the BPO industry before transitioning to freelancing, where I’ve now been for two years. Girl, I’ve been to 9 countries and can afford the things I want in life. Thank you, Medical VA, for making this possible ☺️

AB Psychology graduate here! Just wanted all of you to know that there's a lot of opportunities for us. Try IO Psychology! I graduated last Sep 2025. Landed an international job Nov 2025, resigned and had my 2nd job Feb 2026! Promoted, had a pay raise, and was regularized in May 2026. :) found them in job street btw!

my sis is also a graduate of BS in Psychology. after she graduated, she passed the board exam and now, she works in one of the big 4 companies as their human capital associate (pays well). never undersell yourselves, kudos!

No girl, take the board exam, try applying as an HR sa mga banks or sa top 100 companies. They may offer you the minimum wage at first pero it’s a good stepping stone.
