imo I think it's great because every character is good at some point. Hoyo makes money from 5 stars, novaflares makes old 5 stars useable and hence make money again from their rerun. As a f2p I find it really great because the baseline of 4 stars and 5 stars are different. So I think it's a win win from everyone
