Totally agree. I'm 6'2" and have had a knee replacement. As soon as I can get out of those cramped seats, I do.

I always sit aisle, usually the first 10 rows. I stand up and block people trying to bum rush the front. If you’re behind me, you exit behind me.

each row should have a designated representative stand up and collect overhead items for your row. Then sit down or stay standing just don't move forward until your turn. I get irrationally livid when I see someone struggling with the overhead and the whole plane is empty in front of them because they're so slow.

My husband is also tall and stands immediately. these seats are small and he’s crammed in there.

I stand up as soon as the plane stops and the seatbelt light goes off. I have a degenerative nerve disease and need several minutes of standing to get the nerves in my legs back online so I can walk.
