See I was with mine for 8 years, split for 18 months then got back together for 11 years, so yeah it can work but we have recently split up again due to grief of her dad.

an ex is an ex for a reason but it does depend if they have took accountability or you have and actually do the healing work and change the behaviour that caused the break up then maybe it can work again but if no change, repeating the same patterns and behaviour then nahhhhh
