Not always the case. The age of the tank along with the actual thickness left of the tank wall after many years of use/scale off will also contribute to this.

Bet you they just pump air back in and it comes back to original shape. When air test barges we only pump 3psi in because it’s so much volume. Anymore then that would blow it into a cylinder
