I get this when I stand up. I go like blind and my head starts buzzing. I’ve never thought about being checked for this

I really appreciate this advice. I’m a mix of normal and hyper mobile. I have some normal test and some definitive hyper mobile. My son is more hyper mobile and often talks about the dizziness. He has pes planus too. Really good tip on the electrolytes / salt.

Omg is this actually a thing?! My daughter and I both have this and I’ve had investigations that were inconclusive and I’m waiting for my adhd assessment (yes we both skip breakfast because eating breakfast makes us nauseous)

Does anyone else hypermobile, not able to kneel and sit on their feet because it makes them feel dizzy? Usually it makes me feel dizzy, my vision will start closing in like im going to pass out if I dont move. Its obviously from the pressure in my ankles but wondering if anyone else gets it.

Should hypermobile people take collagen supplements? If part of this is about blood vessel flexibility with collagen

This has blown my mind. All of the women in my family have fainted. My nana, my mum, myself and now my daughter. From a young age, around 7. So for decades and we have always been told they didnt know why. This makes so much sense now as we are all Hybermobile. Love the fact about the heat as well. My son finds the heat intolerable as does my brother.

I never see anyone with my issue: I am hypermobile but I love warm weather. I am always cold, even in +30°C weather. I cannot for the life of me get warm.

I used to faint a lot due to orthostatic hypotension, however I became very hypertensive, so I have different problems now. Never thought I'd become hypertensive.

ive been suffering with almost fainting when standing since I was a teenager. There was a period of time where I didnt get it as much, but over the last year its come back quite frequently and im Hypermobile. I usually jump on the spot to get the blood pumping but I have passed out from just standing up before.

This video fails to inform that what he’s describing is called POTS which is a diagnosis in itself and it’s not always present with hyper mobility/eds although often a higher amount of Eds patients have it.

Keeping you blood sugar high is a really bad idea. Better to keep lower but stable.
