This is so true 😂. I come across girls all the time who say they have the worst luck with friendships, but it becomes pretty obvious why they can’t keep friends—they’re simply not good friends themselves. Ironically, they’re often the same people who say, “A friend to many is a friend to none,” which I completely disagree with. Usually, a friend to many is someone who’s kind, genuine, and knows how to build healthy relationships with different people. I’ve been lucky enough to maintain friendships from every stage of my life—grade school, high school, university, and adulthood—and the common denominator has always been mutual respect, support, and zero jealousy. Real friendships aren’t a competition. Some people can’t understand that, so instead of reflecting on themselves, they put down girls who are social, confident, and secure in who they are. 🤷‍♀️
