Tommy were influenced by Pantera. The "hair band" era was over more or less anyway. The "everything suck" era was on its way with Nirvana etc etc. But that era was short lived. It pretty much died with Curt Cobain. The post grunge was on its way with bands like Nickleback and Creed. Then came the Nu-Metal era with the 2K and bands like Slipknot, Linking Park and Systems of a down. But thank god some of the 80's band still playing rock n roll. Looking forward to see Iron Maiden, Anthrax, Accept+++ this week.

Before I was a teenager I already had hair pretty much exactly the way Vince wore his! Believe me when I say that I had a lot of fun in my school and college years! My glory days… lol
