My brother doesn't potty train his kids until they "show an interest in using the potty". His oldest was still in diapers till almost 4. Only started potty training because she was going to pre-k

Potty training was long & hard as hell to do, but we’ll do underwear over diapers everyday. Especially Bcus he can jsut go or tell us he needs to go. & it makes it easier Bcus whoever watches him KNOWS The routine so he got the hang of it faster

My babysitter did this instead of trying to work with me on potty training. I went on vacation for a few weeks and had her potty trained completely. Went back to the baby sitter without diapers but extra clothes and told the sitter no more diapers and if she bought them, I wasn't refunding them. At that point my daughter was sleeping through the night without accidents and had been for months. it was literally the sitter because she didn't want to take her to the bathroom when they were running around town etc.
