Caramelized onions take about 45 minutes… so I make them once and freeze the rest. ✨ Slice the onions, add a little butter or olive oil and a pinch of salt, then cook low and slow until soft, golden and caramelized. Once completely cooled, I portion and freeze them. Then they’re ready for beef sandwiches, burgers, chicken, potatoes, eggs, bowls and more. This is why I prep components instead of finished meals — cook once, then mix and match into different meals throughout the week.
