cap is only broken is if you're going up against a cap main. broken implies anyone who picks up the character can run lobbies. cap has a high skill ceiling to actually provide value

Cap is not S. He’s the perfect example of what a balanced character looks like. He’s a character you can counter but he gets value in other ways besides getting kills and damage. If you think he’s broken your piss and don’t know how to play into a DIVE TANK.(346 oaa peak btw)

This guy is obviously doing a bit and doesn't belive this agenda but this is for those who do believe this. He's not broken, they love him in the pro scene, but that's because it's organised. If he's BIS/broken then why is NOBODY is playing him. If he was like elsa or dino he'd have a high win and pick rate from people who have never played them and be banned 24/7 but instead he's the 12th least picked tank with the 4th highest tank winrate and is never banned. This just means you're playing against lovers of the character who make him work after 150+ hours, anyone would be broken after that much time. People put him BIS for the ult, but is cap ult really as good as strange ult? (A fight extender vs a free fight win) the ult acceleration is what makes him S tier for most people but even in celestial your healers run away from it which pmo. Cap is a good initiator for a dps like magik, but solo dive cap is just awful. He's only ever been nerfed apart from the ult charge speed buff and the compensatory 5 damage buff for losing the animation cancel where on the contrary supports have just become God. So pretty much every support self heal method outheals his damage and/or they have the ability to easily escape (most supports have both if not multiple forms of these) all of which can't be baited out meaningfully, if the team has one antidive then it's over. He doesn't need the whole team to peel so can't even disrupt well if the team has an atom of gamesense, and even if the whole team does peel it's not organised play so the team usually don't take advantage and cap gets no value.
