More than 2 million people packed Lower Manhattan on Thursday for the first-ever ticker-tape parade celebrating the New York Knicks. Fans dressed in orange and blue filled the sidewalks and climbed onto delivery trucks, lampposts, newsstands and structures near City Hall to get a view of the team along the Canyon of Heroes. The celebration capped weeks of excitement across New York during the Knicks’ NBA Finals run.
