I also prefer single ingredient treats but it’s so hard to find duck treats for my baby 😭 it’s the only protein so far that she’s not allergic to. By chance does anyone know of any brands that offer more variety for the proteins they use?

This is so, so helpful! Thank you for this. It’s so hard to weed out what is fact and scare tactics when it comes to pet foods/treats. I have switched to single ingredient treats and my dogs love it. I was having trouble deciding on longer lasting chews for my one dog as he is a powerful chewer, I am going to try the beef cheek rolls. 😃 I also honestly didn’t even realize big pet stores offered healthier options, lol, it’s been a long time since I’ve been inside one. I usually order online from a few trusted businesses but I’m going to see what my local stores have now as well for back up’s!Thanks again!

What about Himalayan yak cheese chews? I’ve heard a lot of good things about them but curious if anyone has had personal experience? After watching this I want to get my dog some better-for-him treats to replace his bones.

I’ve honestly completely avoided the chew and treat aisles at petco and pet smart because I just thought everything was bad and spending more money on chews at small pet stores so thank you! (I do prefer to shop small but we’re trying to save money and petco and pet smart are great in a pinch)

Love this! We do minimal kibble with Nutro or Ziwi peak air dried raw toppers, green lipid muscle or a herring and always native supplements!

GG & Gronk have great taste! Dahlia loves the Stella and chewy digestive support as a treat, and the beef liver treats from Stewart’s as well! (Our treat list is very very similar to yours!)
