I would be walking from school I would hear our technics sound system 1 km away. Then I know he’s home😭😭😭😭 when I get home he has opened his Black Label already. On Saturdays he would host his friends and braai. I hated this part of my childhood but now I see how medicinal this was. Our parents enjoyed their lives, they lived large. We are depressed!
