I’m not being funny but lanolin-based lip balms are you’re friend. Most nipple balms also have lanolin in, but if you can find a lip balm, even better. Lanolin is supposedly a really similar makeup to human skin, so it heals really fast and is a good hydrator. I swear by this small brand called Lip Warrior. I’ve used it for years and my lips never get dry and if they do, they always heal within like a day or 2. They sell on Etsy!

lip balm doesn't do this. using lip balm instead of treating chronic dehydration does. drink more water and it will go away.

Vaseline doesn't contain moisture it just keeps it locked. Use some cream or honestly butter works as well

so, Vaseline is one of the good ones, girlie. it doesnt provide its own moisture, but instead it forms a moisture barrier and traps the moisture thats already there. so drink water, hydrate your lips, THEN put Vaseline on and it should lock in that moisture.

Before you use Vaseline drink water and make sure it coats your lips then only apply a thin layer. Then grab a tissue and put it in between your lips and press lightly to get off the excess. Hang in there 🫡
