Ronaldo fans need to understand that it’s not bc Ronaldo is a bad player. He’s literally 41 bro not a single soul at that age can compete elite ball for 45+ min. Him coming off the bench would make more sense and shouldn’t come off as disrespectful because Ronaldo in 30-20 min of game time will be so dangerous against an already tired defense. He would probably score more and Carry Portugal in that role. He would still be the main guy and the most important piece but off the bench

Guys let’s be honest they just wanted Joao Neves to meat ride Ronaldo like how Argentina do with Messi , at the end of the day Ronaldo being a legend isn’t going to win Portugal nothing today it’s his contribution to the TEAM because it’s a TEAM everybody knows their roles , his role is scoring goals , maybe his wording wasn’t the best but I’m pretty sure that’s what he meant .

Joao neves is wrong because the amount of time him, Bruno, and Vitinha refused to pass to him and lack to create chances and the amount of times they passed it back for no reason. Ronaldo isn’t the problem he just has teammates that don’t pass him the ball or just pass back they are refusing to play with him

As a CR7 fan I agree, there was a time when he was Portugals hopes and miracle, but those days are over, we need to realize that CR7 is at an age where he needs help like Portugal needed him for 20 years, he can’t carry like he used to, he’s still able to put up the numbers but he needs to rely on his teamates more
