@humanebroward: It’s Kobe’s turn for Paw Patrol! 🐾❤️ Although the shelter is closed to the public today, our staff is still here caring for the animals ❤️ This morning, Kobe helped us open the shelter by making his rounds through the building and checking each room to make sure we were ready for the day. He takes his job very seriously and is always happy to lend a helping paw. 😍 While Kobe enjoys helping around the shelter, what he really needs is a home of his own. 💔 Kobe is only 1.5 years old, but he has already been through a lot. He was originally found as a stray and no one ever came looking for him. Later, he lost his home when his family went through a divorce and could no longer keep him. None of it was his fault. 🥺 Despite everything, Kobe is still an incredibly sweet dog. ❤️‍🩹He loves people, enjoys pets and snuggles, walks nicely on leash, is potty trained, knows “sit,” and would happily climb into your lap if given the chance. 🥹 Kobe can be anxious in his kennel, but once he gets outside, he relaxes and enjoys spending time with people. 🙏 He has done well with kids, cats, and other dogs, although older children may be best since he can get excited and jump up at times. Kobe is also allergic to chicken, so his future family will need to keep that in mind.
