@ajmarinaccio: Good morning and welcome to Perk Up! I am AJ Marinaccio and it is Friday June 19th at 5:33am. Episode 125. Two long blacks for me this morning, no cappuccino, before heading to the gym for an InBody scan and chest day after two weeks of missed lifting. Let's get into it. This is the first InBody scan in a while without consistent resistance training the two weeks prior, so genuinely curious to see if the body recomposition held up on rest and reduced gym time alone. Chest still looks better than two weeks ago just from push ups so the curiosity is real. Drone update: plates, remote ID module, and anti collision light are all installed. Just waiting on the FAA waiver before flying over crowds, but I am cleared to fly otherwise and hoping to get it up in the air today if the wind cooperates. Big weekend project starting today: finally tackling the storage and clothes purge. Every 38, 36, and 34 waist piece, every XXL top, anything that does not fit now is gone. No going back to those sizes. Last night was Carnivore BBQ episode 17 and @Cuso's Cowboy Butter reshared episode 16 on their Instagram which was a genuinely exciting moment. New Ariat cowboy boots arrived yesterday too so I dressed up cowboy style for the live, squeezed my old cowboy hat back on with a little padding since it no longer fits at this weight, and accidentally developed a Southern twang halfway through. The line of the night: "Cuso's Cowboy Butter, it's Cowboy Approved". Tonight is episode 18. Reading update: still have not officially replaced 1000 White Women but bringing it to the gym today anyway just to get pages in. Anyone with a cowboy hat situation after losing weight, how did you make yours fit again? Genuinely need tips.
