Love the video! About the only thing I do differently is I use ritz instead of saltines. My grandmother and mother were from Crisfield, MD and always said that’s the “right” way. But both ways are delicious!

Traditional crab cakes were made when uncle Stan passed out following a case and a half of PBR on the boat and didnt eat his share off the table. 1lb jumbo lump, 2lb special and 1lb claw. The rest you can eyeball and fry them in PEANUT OIL. Anything other is a modernization.

Thanks for sharing this recipe, Darius! This is exactly how crab cakes should be made. I remember someone mentioning that it would be better to have a piece of crab shell in a crab cake than to over mix it!
