Correct prayer is performing the five daily prayers at their prescribed times, while being in a state of purity, facing the Qiblah, and having sincerity and humility. It begins with Takbirat al-Ihram (saying “Allahu Akbar”), followed by reciting Surat Al-Fatihah and another surah, then bowing (Ruku‘) and prostrating (Sujood) with tranquility, sitting for the Tashahhud (two sittings in three- and four-rak‘ah prayers, and one in Fajr prayer), and ending with the Taslim.
