@ohhowcivilized: Link to the recipe is in my bio. I’m a Tea Sommelier and welcome back to my cold brew tea series where I make a new cold brew every week this summer. This is a raspberry lime basil cold brew tea. Using my cold brew tea formula of 1 tea plus 1 fruit plus 1 citrus plus 1 herb, I made this with English breakfast as my tea, raspberries as my fruit, lime as my citrus, and fresh basil as my herb. One of the best things about cold brewing tea is that you can use the cheapest tea and it’ll still taste fantastic. You don’t need to use the most expensive tea you have. Put the tea, raspberries, peeled lime, and torn basil leaves into a glass container. To get as much flavor from the fruit and tea, I mash it with a muddler. Pour in cold or room temperature water. Stir or shake the container so that all the tea is in contact with the water. Place it in the refrigerator for 12-24 hours. Strain out the solids and it’s ready to drink. It’s naturally sweet, a little tart, and so refreshing. #coldbrewtea #coldbrew #icedtea #teatok #tearecipe

This may be dramatic but you literally changed my life with this series! I started making cold brew teas last year when I first saw your videos and now I make them ALL the time. I love experimenting with different teas and flavors!

Would frozen berries work? 🤔I could see doing this but fresh fruit is so expensive I always just eat it right away

I thought some of the importance of boiling water was to kill bacteria on the tea leaves? Is this a concern for cold brew?
