Allora, intanto “ pilates “ è una parola tedesca 😭 invece la parola “ sport “ ha un’ origine antichissima, dal latino deportare , poi venne utilizzato in Francia e subito dopo in Inghilterra e Italia . Perciò direi che ognuno può pronunciare come meglio crede nella propria lingua e con la propria cadenza 😂😂😂😭😭😭😭😭

I have some bad news for you! Sport is not an English term, it derives from the Latin DEPORTARE, and pilates is not an English term either, it derives from the surname of the German fitness trainer and inventor Joseph Hubertus Pilates

l'italiano pronuncia tutte le vocali e consonanti presenti in una parola tipo PILATES mentre in inglese non si capisce perché scrivete la parola in un modo la pronunciata in un altro alcune consonanti e vocali non vengono per niente considerate

these are words that are english but became words that italians use a lot, they are now italian words that we use with an italian accent. We don't use the plural of these words either. it's like when you americans say "pasta" or "mozzarella", or "pizza". You don't say these words as Italian do, you have an american accent when you say them.

dovremmo fare come i francesi e tentare di non usare parole inglesi nel nostro vocabolario. Invece siamo totalmente assorbiti dalla loro cultura e finiamo per dire idiozie tipo "droppare", "meeting", "call" ecc ecc.
