Mum got mad at me for asking to remove it. Telling me no one notices. But they do. Everyone does. And once I took it off she was like “see no difference.” But it did make a difference. My confidence was through the ROOF

The second someone pointed out my daughter’s little mustache and made her feel self-conscious, I showed her how I shave mine and we started doing hers. I normalized it as part hygiene/self-care rather than being about vanity.

You’re a great mom . I was so happy when my mom did this for me as a kid … and I’ll do it for my daughter too . At least we got bomb eyebrows ☺️☺️even the kids that don’t have ENOUGH brows get teased . Bullies are bored but I’m glad he’s more confident after yay!!!!!! You can see his excitement

Honestly, yes you can teach him how to accept his appearance not as a flaw but as something that makes him HIM. But kids are MEAN. Istg meaner now than they were before. I accept my dark hairs now as an adult but im grateful my mom shaved my neck/chin as a kid and teen 😭
