the thing about monika’s character is 2 things. she loves her friends but she was a perfectionist. it said that in ddlc+. but when she found out that the mc was never meant to love her as the doki that appeared the most perfect on the outside AND the only doki with no trauma, she feels betrayed. this club was meant to fulfill everyone’s needs, meaning everyone be loved equally(also said that in ddlc+). but not only does she feel betrayed, and not loved—because the mc literally wasn’t made to fall in love with her—she sees a perfect way to get out of this hell hole for her: delete her friends that “betrayed her” and live with the player, so she could live a perfect—since she’s a canon perfectionist—real life.
