imo sometimes trying is worth a risk, living in europe is not as good as it seems, there is no golden country with given happiness; i think if you keep that in mind everyone can create their own happy place, even in korea focusing on it being just cheaper and tastier

이건 진짜 회사마다 달라요 코로나 이후엔 바뀐곳도 많구요 제가있던곳은 여자직원들이 많아 회식도 거의없었고 야근도 적었지만 다녔던 다른 곳은 주말에도 자주 나가 일하긴했죠 한국에서 회사생활이 쉽지않은건 맞지만 규모가 어느정도 되는회사는 복지나 그만큼 연봉수준이 좋은편이고 고용안정성도 좋은편이죠 법적으로 쉽게 자르지못해서 짤려야될 사람도 높은연봉받고 다니죠 유토피아는 아니지만 디스토피아는 아닙니다

Your honesty is very much appreciated too many people getting swayed by the ‘fantasy world’ of kdramas - which I love but only as a release. If you research the realities of SK you may be somewhat surprised. The hierarchy culture, the education culture, the pressure of so called Korean beauty standards the work culture as you mention the level of misogyny etc leads to SK having one of the highest suicide rates in the world. You are one of the few ‘real’ male Koreans on this app spreading awareness in a constructive manner it is appreciated. I am due to visit SK shortly alongside Thailand & Japan I hope my trip enjoyable as a tourist
