@tashaayates: Jamaican food is super high on my list of favourite foods, from brown stew chicken to curry goat and oxtail, I love it all. This brown stew chicken recipe is from a Jamaican cookbook I bought a couple years ago. In my marinade video everyone was so judgmental and negative when at the very start of the video i literally asked for tips and advice on how to improve. I’ve also cooked this for a friend of mine who’s Jamaican and he loved it and said my rice and peas were as good as any other he’s had. The amount of negative comments wasn’t necessary , people were saying it’s not brown stew like you were miles off 🤦🏽‍♀️I do mine similar except a bit less browning and I put the veggies in when I season the chicken and also instead of corn flour if you leave it to simmer a bit longer it will naturally thicken but aslong as you’ve tried and enjoyed it it’s all good
