I know you’re really trying to help and I really appreciate the effort but let me tell you: none of these work for all pots. Different leveling and gravity issues, prolonged sunlight or sudden weather changes… It’s a nightmare. Only an automated irrigation system will guarantee uninterrupted water supply. And I’m not trying to sell, I tried to avoid it as much as possible 😅

I used the wick, it kept my plants alive for three weeks. I also tried the kiddie pool, out of 15 plants I only lost 2 small ones because of too much water.

No. Waterin only one tiny spot in the entire pot has proven to cause root rot or the plant dries out. Most of the roots stay dry as the desert while one small spot gets water all the time. Your plants will die.

really depends on the plant. you can't water dracaena , ficus , prayer plant , monstera , snake plant , succulents , and a lot more
