No hiding it, no brown bag, totally fine. As long as you are in the historic district and your drink is in a cup that holds 16 ounces or less, you are free to stroll the squares, walk along the river, and enjoy the city with your favorite beverage in hand. It is one of the only places in the entire country where this is allowed. It is such a small thing, but it is so Savannah. This city has a way of doing things just a little differently, and honestly that is part of what makes it so special.
