There’s not enough freight out there anymore and it’s not paying enough like people are advertising cross country. I will not leave the area in California across the country with the mineral of $10,000. Too many businesses closed down, not enough freight to make the combo loads.

Nice set up but I feel like it’s too cheap because atleast in the coils I would not move it for anything. Less than $2.5 per mile and the rear load closer to $2 but I also understand that Reno it’s hard to get good paying loads sometimes

So, 4500 or 5500 carrying more load, 30k lbs versus 3500 carrying only 10k lbs, is that a difference in rate just because you have more capacity truck?

On a serious note. I’ve had a class A for 8 years, I’ve been a OTR trucker and local hauling logs for the past 5 years. I’m about to buy a dodge ram 3500 and a 40 foot GN.. wouldn’t you want most of the weight to the front? Seems like an off balanced load, especially with that much weight on the rear axle.
