My favorite number is 7 and my husbands name is John, we have a 3 year old that we are getting ready to take to see Toy Story. I watched this a few times, cried. paused. came back and watched a few more times... had to pause the video at 2010 cause John looked SO familiar to me.. then i saw you... and immediately gasp-yelled MRS. MEADOWS!? Suddenly it all made sense... It made sense why my soul felt such instant sorrow, why i connected to him being born in Nov. 92, cause i was March 93, why even after I paused and left the app I still came back to watch a few more times, why John felt SO familiar... its cause I knew him through you, through class, through seeing you go through this tragedy at that time... Anyways I'm sorry, I'm rambling... all that to say how wonderful it is to see you beautiful as ever and being the amazing motivational, inspirational, strong educator that I was blessed to be able to experience in real life 🤗 Not every teacher makes an impact, but I want to add here that YOU were the ONLY teacher I had at that school that made a lasting impact on my life... 🤍 I hope your nephew enjoys the new Toy Story movie! dr. meadows! i know you can’t remember every student you taught but we all remember you! when you were at DRA and talked about John, all we wanted was to wrap you up in the biggest group hug. john meadows will always be remembered and loved, thanks to his beautiful mama and little brother 🥹 we all felt your love and respect, and when you were in pain we shared it with you. even though we were kids, you have meant so much to us. you made every student feel like they were your family, and that’s rare. compassion and empathy was the biggest lesson you could teach any of us! i have nothing but fond memories with you 🥹 i look for #NME stickers everywhere i go. 🤍
