when I start spiraling into old limiting belief thoughts I stop and tell that part of myself “thanks for protecting me in the past, but i’m safe now.” and it puts me back on the right wavelength. it’s really just reprogramming. Like we are fckn computers I swear

what she’s describing actually has a name. your brain has a system called the reticular activating system and it filters reality based on what you’ve told it to look for. when you assume something is already true you’re essentially reprogramming that filter. it starts finding evidence for what you believe. that’s not magic. that’s neuroscience 🤍
