@midsizeasianqueen: It sucks to brace when meeting your Asian family and wondering what body comments they will shame you with - but that doesn't mean I can still be confident as I am Funny enough on this trip, my family didn't comment on my body size even though I'm still the same size as when they fat shamed me last time. Even though they said I look "healthy" and pretty (and even pale? Lol), it's not like that makes me feel better. As I've gotten older, external validation is not as satisfactory as it used to be when I replied on it for my own confidence Also - cool story moment! I met a follower who is on this trip with me. She followed me before we knew we would be on this trip together and she filmed this for me. What a full circle moment from her seeing my fat Asian video before and now her filming my latest one #bodypositivity #bodyconfidence
