@ghbrain_: A symbolic display of the slave trade was presented before the President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, and other international dignitaries during the Juneteenth Durbar of the NEXT STEPS High-Level Consultative Conference at Osu Castle. The durbar formed part of activities commemorating Juneteenth and advancing discussions on reparatory justice. The event brought together traditional leaders, government officials, diplomats, academics, and civil society representatives to strengthen the global dialogue on reparations for the transatlantic slave trade and its lasting effects on African descendants worldwide.
