Grew up in the hood in chicago, Asian, been around aaaaalll sorts of ppl from everywhere since. Regarding AAVE or urban slang, it’s definitely more regional and city based than anything. There aren’t set rules for what things mean bc of that. It’s like any other dialect that white ppl will speak. Region, city, town whatever… it’s just area dependent parlance. Like saying grocery cart vs buggy.
