Tricky one, personally i probably would of told her, her work is nice but I just wanted something different. It’s not that deep. At least she is supporting her business by sharing and liking her posts. I have ‘strangers’ who support my business more than my friends…

Whilst the friend might feel hurt she should be able to recognise that they're a different style. I never use friends or family for anything as it's always got the potential to become awkward. I understand not telling friend you were getting them done as would have had this issue anyway. The friend could have said "Hey you've had your brows done, they look so good, I love that style on you" And that should be the end of it.

Not wrong for having them done somewhere else but wrong in the way you approached it maybe. I’d have spoken to her first. Said you feel more comfortable going to someone you don’t know personally as you don’t want any friction if you don’t like them. Or you could have said you want them different to the style she does. I dunno, something so she knew and could make her peace with it

i would have had a consultation with the friend and shown her exactly what you wanted. Then if she said she 'doesnt do them like that' then shes had first refusal. But i dont see anything wrong to be fair.✌️

I think the person is in the wrong... if the other person was her best friend I recon she'd know or have a better way to advise her that it doesnt quite match her style... maybe showing her a few ideas of what you did want would have probably been step 1... i get it a permanent procedure and your "best" friend would have surely understood if you went to use someone your have followed for a while.... its more the behind her back shadyness that hurts more id guess... sorry not a girl
