I’ve been getting waves of this lately. This strange almost depersonalization. Like I am not who I am. It’s terrifying.

It’s a terrible feeling. I had it after a miscarriage and once when I was anemic. I wonder if there’s a correlation.

Yes! I suffered with postpartum psychosis. I was hospitalized and got the appropriate care, thankfully . I didn’t listen to the depression, I wasn’t eating, very reactive and up and down. I woke up one day and thought my name was Cindy, cameras were everywhere, I knew something that nobody else knew, I was talking to relatives who had passed away and swore they were alive still. It was so wild, and in my mind I was totally normal” and fine. My mom talked me into going to the hospital with her, and I went willingly thinking that Ellen was going to be there 😳

I remember it so clearly too, I was day 11 on the NICU ward with my little one. Within a couple of months I was on the mother and baby unit, I had lost my previous baby and had to discharged early to be with my dying dad. Honestly, don’t know how I got through that time alive tbh
